Our Mission

SOS Combatives CIC delivers practical personal safety education programmes designed to help individuals recognise, avoid, and escape real-world violence.

As a registered Community Interest Company, our work exists to strengthen community safety while reinvesting proceeds into local causes.

What We Do

Our team delivers carefully structured personal safety programmes that are specifically tailored to meet the needs of diverse groups across the community. We recognise that safety is not a one size fits all subject, which is why we adapt our curriculum to address the unique challenges faced by different demographics. Whether we are working with schools, corporate teams, or local community hubs, our training is always relevant, age appropriate, and accessible.

Our Programmes

Community Impact

Get to Know Us

SOS Combatives operates as a Community Interest Company (CIC).

This means that we actively support the local community around Southend-on-Sea and the surrounding areas.

We aim to invest our proceeds into the local community in many different ways, such as

  • Community safety initiatives

  • Local charities and causes

  • Continued outreach programmes

With your help, we can help make our local community a better one.

Who We Work With

Charities & Community Orginisations.

We work with a wide range of local charities and community organisations - we believe that working closely with the local community is key to working towards a safer community.

Youth Groups & Community Safety Partnerhsips

Youth groups have a direct positive influence on the children in our community, not only providing a place to play and meet friends, but also providing a safe place and allowing for information to be shared.

Schools

Working with the local Schools is a goal we are actively working towards. Not only do SOS Combative programmes teach effective risk awareness and de-escalation, but it's also an engaging and social exercise.

Local Businesses

Local small businesses are the lifeblood of a growing community. Working with other small business owners helps us be part of this, as well as providing training programmes so their workers feel safe.

Join us in making a difference.

Recognition

Our journey has been recognised by the Essex High Sheriff, and being recognised by the Essex Police with the Essex police Community Shield shows we are doing something right.
